Maybe they're trying to lure him, but this link is from a Tallahassee rag, so who knows. It's funny how the article mentions '3 different sources', yet no major sports sites like FoxSports or ESPN or have even mentioned it at all. Another thing that's suspicious is the claim that they will retain Kendal Briles and Jim Leavitt as OC and DC. There's no way Bob Stoops would agree to coach anywhere and not be allowed to pick his own staff; especially his coordinators. I can maybe see keeping Briles, but not so sure about Leavitt. Anything's possible I guess and I'm sure Stoops would rather be coaching at a major FBS school then the XFL, but if that's the case, why even leave Chokelahoma?
