This was a horrible game and did not do Texas much of a favor in the voters minds. They looked pretty average against a team forced to play with a freshman QB. Texas does not look capable of going undefeated. Their loss might not come until the Big 12 CG however.
I was at this game (I have gone the last two years). I live here so its always nice to watch college football. My observations 1. Both UT and OU would be dominated by UF and Bama, and LSU would beat both of them 9 out of 10 times. 2. The Big 12 is very very weak this year 3. UT fans cheering when Bradford got hurt show the worst class I have ever seen in my life. I was a neutral party at this game, didnt care who won. But after the UT fans cheered Bradford lying on the field in pain. I quickly become a OU fan 4. I have found an offense more inept then ours. UT. They better hope they dont make the National Title because UF or Bama will just drill them. Fried Butter - Not to bad actually....
heard the fried butter just tasted almost like a crunchy biscuit. Anyway, i used to go to lower greenville every friday night before this game sporting my LSU gear, and watch the OU busses cruise greenville with the girls hanging out, and it seemed like everyone would talk to me because i was that LSU guy for those nights. Really fun times, and the Blue Goose has the best Margaritas on Greenville.
Yeh pretty much it tasted like a bisquit. The game is at 11:00am which is miserable and I took DART trains down there and that was a nightmare. I wont be going next year, I have experienced it, its cool and everything with the field split down the middle and everything. But the Cotton Bowl is a dump, not a big Fair guy unless I have my kid with me. I also went to ND vs. Michigan this year in the Big House as I am trying to visit several "Key" football games and other stadiums. This was one on my list since I live in Dallas.
