Just so it's clear, Owens thinks that Romo and Witten are drawing up secret plays in the sand and running them in games, without consenting with anyone else. That's a new level of paranoia that T.O. has risen to. I wouldn't be surprised to hear about another 911 call pretty soon.
no... just so it's clear, T.O. thinks Witten and Romo study film together and make adjustments together before during and after games and he thinks the offense would be more productive if he were included in such discussions. stick to predicting who the next DC will be. you're a lot better at that.
Well then ESPN is lying to everyone. Your defending of T.O. is gettin way beyond old. The guy is bad news. Just admit it. Great player but he's a loser of a human being. He's a great player, clair. One of the best of all-time. See, we can come to that agreement. Get some help with this. Seriously. Let him go.
wouldn't be the 1st time. but being they are the end-all, know alls... http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3763209 closer to what I said... Or closer to what you said? If that sounds improbable or unreasonable, outside of Peyton Manning, Romo audibles probably more than any other QB. And he hot-routes Witten more than any other QB. Look, I am not saying T.O. is 100% right in this situation. I just want to make sure people understand the issue. And the image you painted is blatantly not the issue. That's the difference between me and you. Sure, I might be wrong. T.O. might blow up the whole team. And if so, I will admit I was wrong. Like I have any other time I was wrong about something. But until then, I will stick to my guns and believe what I believe -- no matter what ESPN's talking heads say, no matter how bad Ed Werner thinks it is. I trust my own instincts -- even if they wrong 99.9% of the time (and most of the time they are. lol) You trust what some dude on ESPN, or what someone says on the Tigerbait.com message board, to make instincts for you. I can watch sportscenter every night, then come on this forum and accurately predict how you'll post about a topic just based on how it's portrayed in the media. Hence why you've called for probably every coach in the world's head in this forum someplace or another. lol You bite the cheese every time.
There are no droids here. Move along. (FYI TO: Paranoia will destroy 'ya)
Clair i have to disagree with you on a few things. If T.O said these things, he needs to shut up. The reason is because he is a target of media exaggeration. Anything he says that can be perceived negative will be blown up. His yelling at coaches and rants on the sideline just makes it worst on the locker room. Its almost like a bad marriage, putting a facade up during gametime, but behind the scenes its domestic violence, sooner or later someone will find out whats happening. However, your guy is a diva. However, the Romo to Witten thing isnt working so well. Imo Romo is a choke artist when it counts.
Yes & Yes. The only reason you sign a T.O. is to score more points and win more games. If you sign a guy like him you damn sure better get him the ball because you know what happens if you dont. You get turmoil, locker room probs and probably dont win or score as much. I hate T.O. but he's scoring machine.
Actually I was hinting at posting the crying scene by pathetic T.O. from last year's playoff loss. But once again great idea with the "Paranoia deep destroyer" reference (I can't remember which song that comes from for the life of me)
Frankly, I'm surprised that Phillips has made it through the season, the way that it's gone, thus far. Although, with the way the offense has not performed up to the '07 team, does Jason Garrett really look like the genius that Jerry Jones made him out to be when he paid him so much to stay on (and be the "coach-in-waiting," a term I HATE.)
The Kinks - Destroyer BTW, the crying video would have been too easy ! EDIT: I now see that Cali beat me too it. TO on Emmitt and Keyshawn: Dumb and Dumber "Those two need their own show — Dumb and Dumber," said T.O., who was otherwise jolly while sporting a Cowboys-customized Santa cap and blinking red nose. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/rumors/post/Owens-calls-Emmitt-Keyshawn-dumb-and-dumber-?urn=nfl,128421
