Dammit, my opportunity missed As a wave of terror spreads across Europe, the president, in a show of solidarity, decides to do the wave.
I feel so bad for folks like @LSUMASTERMIND , finally get a black President and can't even be proud of him. I hope mastermind runs, I'd vote for him.
Might not. The never fail cure for embarrassment is denial. Like Obama's supporters claiming he won all those rounds with Putin; and his "middle east policy" (whatever it was) was sound; Clinton and her supporters will declare victory no matter what the result. At the end of her term if there is a glowing radioactive hole where New York used be be they'll say "Thank God Hillary was President; or else they would have gotten Washington also". And of course it was Bushes fault they got New York.
As if to prove my own point to me. Today someone, totally outside of this board discussion, told me that Obama is under appreciated in his time; AND within 12 years he will be realized as one of our greatest presidents. I was speechless, which is rare. I realized there was no point shared knowledge that I could even begin a rational discussion and that it would quickly melt into emotional defensive stonewall. Nothing to gain worth the damage to Easter dinner so I had another glass of wine instead. But I'm confident this person could and would put Hillary up there in the same statement regardless of what happens in her term(s). The frightening thought to me is I believe that there are people like that in the Trump and Cruz camps that would be the same way. We are a divided country in so many more ways than just ideology.
