So you want your rivalry (in bama terms, guarenteed win) but you don't want to go to the east to get it.

That's the problem with a large contingent of bama fans, you think you're royalty and entitled to whaterver you want.

And you keep confusing the Florida/LSU game with the Alabama/Tennessee rivalry. One has little to do with the other.

    Retarded is more likely.

I never thought I'd live to see the day where I'd agree with Cowherd on anything, but I'm glad this is finally starting to get some media traction.

Why take note of TCU? Because they aren't Towson. VT is not Georgia State. I think folks are trying so hard to be critical they refuse to appreciate most anything else. Coach Saban would like 9 conference games. Has said so repeatedly in Destin. Doesn't sound like someone in a hurry to lighten the load. Most all SEC coaches are not in agreement and would not be in favor of a 9 game schedule. Imagine that? 9 SEC games gives the conference immediate flexibility in their cross division games and creates more attrition for the survivors of the CCG. It also puts a dent in the cupcake schedule that have created so much apathy among fan attendance, not to mention each Saturday will have much more drama associated with it.

Coach Saban wants the tougher road, more natural SEC attrition and a lessening of the cupcake circuit. Makes me wonder where les stands on the subject?

It makes you wonder what Les thinks huh? If only there was a webpage ... maybe one called Lougle we could find out if he's said anything on it.

Unfortunately we only have Google instead, http://www.cbssports.com/collegefoo...-coach-les-miles-wants-eightgame-sec-schedule

Pretty sure you already knew that he had said that also and were just trying to say WOW LOOK LES WANTS LESS COMPETITION. Look, I want just as many SEC games as anyone else, but Saban trying to pass this shit off as oh we need the SOS or people will stop coming to games ... IS A LOAD OF SHIT. The SEC already has a ton of SOS, far more than any other conference, HELL FAR more than if you combine all the other conferences. As far as the teams in the SEC needing to worry about the attendance ... SHIT PLEASE. I would go watch LSU play a high school team because I'm a fan. The SEC is football crazy and does not have an attendance problem.

You know what Saban's rhetoric and bullshit does do though? It takes attention away from the fact that Alabama year in and year out gets a fucking free ride when it comes to the SEC East. And all it takes is little monkeys like you to parrot his comments to keep shoveling shit on top of it to hide it.

Do away with your non competitive "rivalry" or move to the SEC East so you can keep your rivalry and everything be fair.

This whole argument has been centered around perceived advantages in schedule. 9 games lessens such nonsense. 9 SEC games IS where this league is going. 9 games toughen the slate for one and all. 9 games will go a long way in eliminating 1 loss teams left out of Atlanta, as Florida was last season. 9 games would be an advantage for the better teams who have the insight to appreciate, the stronger the schedule, the more the cream will rise to the top. Are you sure les doesn't want 9 games?

How about we go 9 games and Nick gives up his cupcake win over Tenn?
