I'm not pimping the guy, I can't stand him. And I know they have had gimme schedules, but we had the opportunities in 3 seasons to end them and we couldn't do it. I said earlier he was lucky, but you gotta get lucky at times, we as LSU fans should know this. Nebraska knows this, Notre Dame knows this USC knows this. You gotta give credit where credit is due, even if its to someone you wish had mouth herpes.

Your missin the point Dave. Bama and lilnicky make their luck. You really think those assclown Bama alumni are just rollin dice for schedules? Secondly, Sherry's attempt to demean Spurrier's record as inconsequental speaks volumns of his insecurity. Like most Bama fans he's more needy for attention than a 16yr old girl.

If I use your guidelines for "ownership," DuBose owns Spurrier. Tennessee has taken ownership of LSU.

    This. Is. Rich.

Let's review here, shall we? bhelm makes a comment about UK coming on the LSU schedule and in turn I mentioned there's another Stoops LSU can "thump." To which, and I'll wait if you need to scroll back, you turn into a comment about Bama.

Ironic, isn't it? I'm here to talk about football, LSU football in that case, and you turn it into a conversation about Bama.

What board are we on here?

I look over the front page on a LSU forum and see half of your threads are about Bama.

What board are we on here?

Countless times I've said something in threads that has nothing to do with Alabama. Yet, when you chime in, it's bringing Bama into the conversation.

What board are we on here?

What RTB has to do with this conversation is beyond me. It certainly seems like another pristine example of a thinly veiled attempt to change the subject when confronted. With no doubt, there's precedent in making that assumption.

I'm here now for the same reason I started coming here a long time ago. To talk about football. It's an enjoyable pastime.

Which leads me to question why bother even responding to you? Clearly keeping conversations about football topics on football topics is a task to burdensome for you to bear.

LaSalle is right. Saban is a great coach, and has done an incredible job at bama. My problem is that the goddamn SEC office doesn't need to help him with these layup schedules.

To me, it's all about playing for championships and BCS bowls, LSU, by having a tougher schedule last year, missed out on a BCS bowl.

And it isn't just getting to ass rape Tenn every year, but c'mon, no Ga, Fla or USC for 2 years to boot? And then spreading the two toughest games they do have to opposite ends of the season, with an open date before both?

I've yet to hear ONE explanation to why they dodged both Fla and Ga this year, has anyone? You can't tell me the SEC office made these bridge schedules without knowing that bama, with all it all ready had going for it, was getting a HUGE break.

Funny, I read on other forums that LSU is whining, do you think if the shoe was on the other foot, bama fans (and their coach) wouldn't be complaining, they're still complaining about 2010 and the bye week issue.

TerryP and Tusk (especially Tusk) , can either one of you see how LSU fans think this is BULLSHIT?

An extremely lucid moment for you in the football universe. Not going to be easy to execute the game-plan you described against a Nick Saban team. And how many teams will be successful enough to pull it off, perhaps one a season? The reason Bama takes away what you do best, is to put you in such a state of mind. Much has been made of Bama's recent dominance in among such chaos, but truth be told, LSU has been standing in some high cotton for a longer stretch then Bama's revival. How much longer will the tigers stand out as special, while so many teams seem to be regaining strength? Can LSU keep reloading at will? Miles has heard the rumblings of discontent as recent as the Crowton era, how patient will the masses be if this year is a stinker and the Bama bus keeps rolling on?

Bama is invincible and will never lose another game. Bama takes away what Kentucky and Vanderbilt do best. Nobody has ever defeated Nick Saban. He can walk on water and divide by zero. The world sags to its alpaca knees in awe. . . . you're so brilliant . . .

Boy, are you a dumbass. Les could walk into the governor's office and piss on his desk without getting fired. He'll be here as long as he wants to because he wins. He will outlast Nick, who will be gone as soon as Bama gets back on probation.

I'm saying that to be this successful a few things have to be in place and stay in place and a lot of things better not go wrong. Trying to win NC against the field is problematic and when it happens to the tune of 3 NCs in 4 years, count your blessings. Our run is so unique it puts us in the 90's with Nebraska's great program. So I'm doing exactly what my avatar suggest: I'm riding the wave. Just enjoying what has already happened. Who can't scientifically break this stuff down.

As far as fighting for a more balanced schedule, have at it. I don't believe it can be done to the degree that the contenders believe they are not being picked on from schedule to schedule. I'm amazed that Ole Miss has to come to T-Town in back to back years. So do some other teams in the sec. In 92, when we went to the two divisions, I wasn't happy we had to travel to Baton Rouge, back to back. And how does TAMU dodge the east beast this year and so does Ole Miss. Georgia has been living the greatest charmed life of all. Now there's talk that in 2014 we get Florida, who we just got in 2011, instead of Georgia who we haven't played since 2008. This scheduling stuff, It ain't exactly science.
