I have sat back and read a lot of posts last night and today. And I cannot believe the stuff that is being said by LSU Fan. If I remember right at the beginning of this season most of us predicted that LSU would lose 2 or 3 games this year. Because of having a new defensive coordinator, staff, a 19yr old quarterback. And a lot of young players in the game this year. So this should not be a surprise to anyone.

I may not post much but I am on here everyday reading. I agree, Les's clock management was not the best. But you cannot call for the man's head because of that. If the defense had not allowed 2 TD we would not have needed a FG to win.

I can also remember 2007... how all of us just praised Les and Crowton. We all call him the Wizard. And now look at what is going on here in Tiger Nation. Do we just support our team and Coaches and staff just in the good times?

I can also remember when the Tigers where NOT so great, and I'm sure alot of you remember as well. It just really bothers me to see Tiger Nation come to this. I know that I will get alot of crap about this post but that's OK because there's a lot of spirit at LSU and here on this forum.

So with that being said I will start taking my ass chewing from all. Thanks for reading!! :geaux: FOREVER LSU

Being crappy in the past is not an excuse for poor coaching today. I will always support the Tigers with Miles or not. But to look at this season and last and not see some glaring issues that need to be resolved is staring into blinders.

I am an  fan, ok?

Always have been, always will be - it's not like I had a choice.

BR raised, alumni, hell even my grandmother was an  fan.

But let's face it, these are frustrating days as Tiger fans for all of us.

I remember when we never got any good recruits, those guys left the state.

We GOT those guys now, along with a well-taken care of staff of coaches to get them to the top.

Or at the very least, to put them in the best situation to win EVERY week.

Right now, our FB coaching staff is like a beloved EXPENSIVE pedigreed dog that pees all over everything.

Even my neighbors know about my dog's misappropriations and laugh at me about it.

I might still love that dog, but his behavior is DRIVING ME FREAKIN' CRAZY!!!!

Same here. We lost three games this year. I've thought we were a team rebuilding since the start of this year. It doesn't happen over night. These are far from the darkest hours of LSU Football history, and people need to remember the bad old days for perspective:eek:ldskule:

Support the Tigers. But right now -- Miles is not a Tiger. It's obvious, or he wouldn't be throwing his teammates and assistants under the bus to save his own ass.

I see where you're coming from BUT I also remember over the last few years posts from BYU fans warning us that, yes, Crowton can be good. They warned us that we'll fall in love with the guy the first year...but then something happens and he regresses. I've seen CLM make questionable/bad clock, play and discipline management over the years...but we would often make a play that would put us in the drivers seat again at the end of games. Heck, look at how many of our games this year that came down to the last few plays. Look at how many games we've been outplayed in but somehow won. Every team we've played against this year has seemed to have played the best game of their season against us, but often times lose to us. Is that coincidence? Can you call that good coaching by CLM and Crowton? I say no, we've been boring all year but our talent has willed us to wins repeatedly this year and a lot of last year. We have outplayed very few of our opponents, even the Troy States and La Tech. We did not overwhelm ULL either. The only games we came close to playing up to our potential have been against Auburn and Alabama this year. A lack of discipline and referee errors cost us against Alabama. When we play against teams with close to/like talent we will probably lose if that team also has a coaching staff with strict discipline. We've won in spite of our coaches, not because of them. Yesterday it caught up with us. We've been lucky, helped with a boat full of talent.
I'll get off my soapbox now and I'm sorry for the disertation. I just can not imagine teams coached by Meyer or Saban would make the same series of errors in game management as CLM did yesterday.

Does supporting the Tigers mean never questioning our coaching staff's competence?

In bad times, necessary changes will be demanded by loyal Tigers fans to make them good times again.

I think the Tiger Nation has been more than respectful with CLM and more than patient regarding the OC. The moves in the final of Ole Miss game really brought what was bubbling under the surface to the top. I wanted to support Miles, at times, Crowton. No one expects complete perfection. But, what happened at the end of Ole Miss game and how Miles handled it were simply inexcusable. So much so, that it's more disingenuous to sit back and say nothing than to say what's on your mind. I know Miles will be at LSU next season. I will support the team just the same as every year. But, Miles will be on a banana peel when it comes to patience with him. Sorry, just being honest.
