    I will not take a shot at a mom, especially not yours, but I bet she didn't/doesn't believe it is/was as good as hers.

    I would play the Grammaw card but the bacon grease was my idea. I'm sure there must be other people that use it too

    SabanFan always said that he could cook with jar roux and scratch roux and nobody could tell the difference. I believe that. Now, it is possible that some jar roux are better than others, but this is the case with all things. I think it is possible to buy jar roux that is excellent.
