Anybody know if they sell a white roux in a jar? Just curious. I probably wouldn't buy any but since white roux, or bechamel sauce is made with butter instead of oil it might be acceptable

you would think a dry version would be marketed.

 

But that would defeat the purpose of making it with butter really, margarine would be a substitute in that case.

 

i didnt mean it would be good. they sell dry gravy dont they. just figured theyd make that as well.
