Are they the only remaining sec team? aggies lost out, lsu, miss st, USCe, who did i miss. Their pitching isnt great. Our pen is much better. We just didnt hit with RISP. Was a huge problem before the possum. And rears its ugly head once again in postseason. But this year we werent great. We played way over our heads for half the season. Mainieri might be up for Coach of the Year after replacing 8 of 9 starters and getting us a top 8 seed.
Well... Getting out of the regional = good. Getting swept in the Super... Not so much. A little bit disappointed how they went out, and much more disappointed that of the big three sports, baseball was the least disappointing. Alleva was pumping that sunshine a year ago, going out with a sweep puts a bow on it. Anyway, congrats to Maineri and the team for a pretty good season, all things considered.
I think shane has been yanking your chain the whole time. If you can't say the team sucks or the coach sucks, not much left to say but the bunt sucks. Regardless, folks is wound up like a cheap chinese watch after staying up late on a Sunday night. Isstlitslistls reverse mojo wasn't even close. I wanted to call it out when I saw it, just didn't want to be that guy. Should realise that once it stops working, prolly should just stop. Fucking with mojo like it's a tool will only be welcomed with negative results. In as many times as it has been used on this board, one might expect the abuse to produce even greater negative results. Similar to letting Miles remain the HMFIC. You guys think we keep the majority of the kids on this team for next year. If that is the case you gotta think we would have a great chance for at least the CWS next year.
