How do you see game 2? I think Poche will pick up where he left off. Think he'll go 6 or 7. Bats wake up a bit and Bregman gets his first hit of the tournament. I see a 9-5 type of game. USL keeps the pressure on the entire game, but we get into their bullpen late. Good guys heading to Eauxmaha tonight.
I believe USL has good reason to come in full of confidence. They outplayed us overall, they know they let the game we had to win slip by, and they have their ace pitching. Our lineup full of .300+ hitters need to show up. And for Lords sake, give that 3rd baseman as few chances as possible.
Let's hope that the Ragins ran out of great baseball playing in the game last night. I'd like to see them play some average baseball from here on out !
Bats have been kind of silent the last few games even though we were robbed of a couple of hits that would have scored 2 runs by their 3B last night. Seems like we're due for a big night at the plate.
well robichaux made a couple great moves, the pinch hitter w/o a homer going yard on a first pitch fastball knocking lange out. not to mention the handling of his freshmen starting staff. gunner leger (typical usl name and their big lefty ace) goes today with a 2.87 era and 4.4 k to walk ratio. hard to run on a lefty if we do get on base. if poche is hittable we could be looking at a game 3. need to find a way to knock this guy out early.
