Saved her own damn self from a butt slam. Yes, she has actually got a good voice and the other "stuff" has always detracted from it. Whitney's will always be one of the best. For me, while I thought Gaga didn't have any lyrical or tonal deficiencies, I got the feeling she was making it more about herself than the song. I think the opening kickoff was delayed an extra two minutes while she meandered through the anthem.
So it was a tribute to the black panther party huh. I don't guess Toby Keith wearing a confederate flag would have gone over too well but this hamhock legged hooker gets to do a tribute to black panthers. Interesting.
My problem is that I don't care enough to realize or grasp all that symbolic shit. I means, you got to care for the symbols to mean something. I liked her dancin, and such, and I really like lil'Bruno Mars. Wish I had those moves. Never really looked her up, but had the feeling that Beyonce was "hot." Actually, she is kind of a big girl. Maybe setting herself up for a NutriSystem ad down the line.
thats the difference. white people dont really give a shit enough for it to matter. we get confused because we have pretend to side with blacks on every issue even if its stupid. and hammer anything white. the state of alabama makes this easy however. this supposedly gets rid of white guilt eventually.
I agree and it's not so much that I care about what she did, rather, the black community's uproar had a white singer had dancers with white hoods or something- the double-standard.
