Starting with Week 10, the Sunday night game will have a flexible schedule allowing the 'best' game of the week to be broadcast Sunday night. I think the Sunday night game has replaced MNF as the premier game of the week. If the Saints keep winning, I can see NBC wanting to have them on in primetime. The game on 12/24 will stay as Philly/Dallas is already picked for that week.

    Remaining schedule:
    10/29 Baltimore
    11/05 at Tampa Bay
    11/12 at Pittsburgh
    11/19 Cincinnati
    11/26 at Atlanta
    12/03 San Francisco
    12/10 at Dallas
    12/17 Washington
    12/24 at N.Y. Giants
    12/31 Carolina

I can see Cinci, Atlanta, Dallas or Carolina all being attractive games.

Wow, finally, the NFL "gets it". Let's show the best game of the week instead of being forced to stick to a schedule concocted a year earlier.

    I love it.

Why doesn't MNF get the same treatment? Did NBC pay the NFL a crap load of money to be able to do this and ESPN didn't?

And what happened the the Sunday night game last night?

I agree on all 4 games you listed. The networks love to show games in the Superdome, its the best atmosphere in all the NFL. So Cincy is more than likely going to be chosen, especially if New Orleans and Cincy are both 7-2 at the time.
