Either bowl will be fine by me! A rematch with the Hawkeyes would be great in the Outback Bowl or playing Nebraska in the Cotton.....which LSU has never beaten!!
It's a new rule they instituted this year and is ongoing through the 2014 Bowl games. The Rose MUST take a non-AQ school ranked that high the first year they are not invited to the BCS title game. So TCU to the Rose and Stanford to the Fiesta is my projection. I just can't see Stanford being shut out and traveling to the Fiesta appears to be a perfect fit. The problem with Stanford is they are a lot like USC and are way too nonchalant about their football (they can't even fill up a measly little 50K stadium with a team that will end up in the top 5). So if they don't get the invite, blame it on an indifferent fan base.
LSU vs Michigan State in the Cap One Bowl, please Dear God. They are a solid team but have the type QB we could hold down. Their running game may cause us a bit of a problem however.
This would be a good game too! I don't necessarily care what bowl the Tigers go to, for me it's all about matchups! Big 12 matchups I would like.......Texas A&M, Okie St, or Nebraska Big 10 matchups I would like.......Michigan St, Iowa, or Penn St
