And some of LSU's wins are not looking as impressive (Vandy losing to Army, MSU losing to Houston at home, UGA getting a mudhole stomped). Right or wrong, that's the way pollsters will see it. However, I don't have a vote in any poll, so whatever I say or think doesn't matter, anyway.
Exactly right, it's all about when you lose in the polls. That doesn't make it right it's just how the polls work.
And it's important to use the right poll. for example: Colley's Bias Free College Football Rankings I want what colley smokes....:yelwink2:
Hey, pharpe wanted LSU ranked ahead of USC and Colley's rankings does just that... .... I am here to serve.
Well don't you thinks it's crazy that the Coaches even have a vote? They don't even see the highlights, much less watch the game. They look at a boxscore, that's it. You realize had Tebow somehow completed that pass downfield in the last few minutes (the one that got intercepted) and the score end up 20-3, LSU would have fallen 5 more spots in the Coaches poll? That's some crazy shyt.
I am more confused by Ohio State's ranking. Ohio State and LSU both lost at home to highly ranked teams, but Florida is ranked higher. Both have wins over previously ranked teams, but LSU's was/were on the road. LSU went down to the wire at Mississippi State, Ohio State went down to the wire at home against Navy. By objective analysis, LSU should be just ahead of Ohio State, but many voters employ a more subjective method.
Unless you're loking at a different schedule, our divisional schedule is tougher then USC's entire season schedule... then throw in the games from the SEC East, and then throw in a team we beat and they lost too... and we by far have the tougher SOS. They benefited from losing before us.
