A friend and I were talking about the national championship game. What if this happens:

    mizzou beats kansas,
oklahoma beats mizzou in the b12 championship game.
    uconn beats wvu,
    boise beats hawaii
    usc beats arizona state
and godforbid lsu loses in the seccg
who plays ohio state for the bcs

I say the bsc will go down then and we might actually see a playoff system implimented. Kansas, Hawaii, and boise state would be the only other 1 loss teams. It's unlikely, but pretty much every one is possible with uconn winning and lsu losing being the least likely. lol

Oklahoma plays in the championship game. I actually think the BCS would be happy with this, as it pits two perrenial powers in the big game.

i really wanna see LSU and Ohio State play for the NC. now that would be a great game. LSU offense vs. OSU defense.

thats the difference between this years buckeye team compared to last years. this year they are lead by thier defense and not thier offense. I have the pic of the scoreboard at end of the game last saturday. they held michigan to like 91 total yards or something like that.

Both have great D's but aOSU's O is boring (trust me, I know what that looks like this year). LSU's O OTOH would be the difference maker...........and a big one. LSU wins by at least 14.

I think there is a decent chance it would still be LSU, unless Georgia was the SEC champ.

LSU had a comfortable lead over Oklahoma when both had one loss. The computers hate them.

    Agreed.

Ohio State vs Georgia, if Tennessee loses and we lose to Georgia

    otherwise

Ohio State vs Virginia Tech (if they win out)

Virginia Tech's computer polls would be much stronger than OU's and they will shellack a BC team in their CG

USC's computer polls suck just as badly as OU's, just won't have enough human voter support to get there

If LSU loses to Tennessee, I contend in this scenario that LSU could possibly hold on to #2 in the BCS

Voters may not be willing to place a VTech team ahead of LSU since LSU beat them so soundly. LSU's SOS will be one of the top 8 in the country after all is said and done.

I was thinking about this the other day, but instead of losing in the SECCG, we lose to ARK then win the CG and I was thinking we would be back in the title game?
