No way around it, the Astros suck. Outscored 74-20 in last 10 games, all losses. Berkman has a whopping 6 extra base hits on the season. Five players are batting over .250, of them only two are over .300. Only starters with a winning record are Oswalt at 6-4 and Qualls at 4-2. Gotta wonder how long Garner’s lifeboat will float. About the only thing that could make matters worse would be for Drayton to sell ‘em to Benson. :dis:
I hate the Astros, but mainly because of my roommates. However, when they are alive it makes this forum much better, so maybe, and it seems like they do it a lot, they can have some miraculous second half to at least make things interesting.

(AA) Corpus Christi Hooks. 22-30, last in Texas League South, 11 1/2 games back. They were 13-30 before turning it around to win their last 9. (A) Salem Avalanche. 30-22, 1/2 game back in the Carolina Southern Division. Won their last 10. (A) Lexington Legends. 23-30, 13 1/2 games back in the So. Atlantic League North Division. Lost last 2.
