I don't think I'm a whiz at anything, but I'm pretty good with a search engine so that gives me a leg up on you. Just because you have managed to figure out how to turn on a PC, open a web browser and press the keys to form semi-intelligible sentences doesn't mean that I have been proven wrong consistently. Your reply just goes to show that you lack the basic reading and comprehension skills to understand what the word "prove" means. Hopefully you have the motor skills necessary to dig bugs out of the ground with a stick lest you starve.
Let's get back to this, which you didn't address, instead just took a cheap shot at me. I think it sounds like one of the causes of the mortgage crash, where lending institutions were pressured (forced?) to give loans where they normally wouldn't. Do you agree? If not, can you explain? Unlike you, I will listen to other opinions without throwing insults.
That's contrary to what I've seen/heard. Which is why I thought they were similar. Just one example (see MLU I can search too:thumb. Please note that I'm not blaming a party, just saying that it looks like govt. pressure in lending can backfire, and I said "one of the causes", not the single cause. Washington's Blog
Okay, when I get a chance I'll go search the internet to refute your claim and reinforce mine so we can be back to square one. Until that time, I'm curious about the "preference for sexual exclusivity correlate with higher intelligence" line. Are you suggesting liberals are more commited to a monagamous relationship or are you saying you're smart because you play with yourself?
That's not fair! Only the smart liberals are allowed to use the internet to support their claims. We'll have none of that equality crap here! Double standards are in effect and strictly adhered to.
Tell you what, my first instinct is to tell you to piss off because not a single post of yours that I have ever read tells me that you're really interested in learning anything once you have already formed an opinion. You've always struck me as a guy who forms an opinion and then seeks out evidence to support it rather than gather as much information as you can and form an intelligent opinion from what you find. Google "subprime mortgage crisis" and start there. If you're really interested, then start a thread on the subject with information that you found because it's definitely worthy of it's own. Otherwise, I'm not going to waste my time.
Nothing in CRA required banks to not verify income or employment or to extend ridiculous loans on borderline fraudulently overvalued homes. The banks came up with that all on their own.
