Sticky

Can we sticky this week's game thread when it's created and unsticky last week's?

 

Here is the first yes vote on that. @islstl sometimes goes sticky mad.

 

Fuck sticky. Threads should maintain themselves based on the posts they receive...or not.

 

I like the sticky on the music thread but there is no reason to keep a sticky on the defunct What is It thread.

 

Sticky serves a role, like the gameday thread. I'm ok with good/bad/ugly and grades stickied while the conversation is fresh.

 

Both tend to wane as the next week's game takes priority. Unstickying them no later than Wednesday would be about right. If they have continued momentum the will stay near the to on their own merit.

Gameday threads need no sticky, they stay at the top.

Stickies should be for things that need to stay at the top for weeks, like forum rules, changes, etc.
