Agreed. Not sure what the story is out there on Stevenson, b/c some sources have him not even getting an offer from LSU and others say he did. Bottom line, I believe we only had one scholarship to give and that one's DJ's schollie to give up. Stevenson probably didn't want to wait, and heck, UK's not a bad place to go for bball, although Perry will be riding the pine for sometime. Makes you wonder whether whether Brady and Butch thought about Perry's talent in relation to the SEVEN or so new young guys we have coming in. Were we better off being able to sign Perry? Or, would Perry have been another 6'9" ish power forward that's too thin on our roster? :geauxtige
Usually if Kentucky wants them, we should want them. Gransberry or this guy? I haven't seen either but did Kentucky want Gransberry?
I don't know much about Gransberry, but he originally signed with LATech, but could not qualify. I don't think UK had him in their sites.
