Agreed. The LSU offensive line would benefit from some consistency along the line and if we have to keep a TE or chip with a back on the left side then so be it. There's no sense in weakening BOTH tackle spots by shuffling Hurst around.
In the ancient pre-internet era of the late 90s, I was a student and wrote a letter that was published in The Reveille. I was basically whining about Spurrier whining about LSU fans after we beat his #1 ranked Gators in '97. Can't remember what year he left Florida but I know that our home games against them after the big win (99,01,03) were all day games that had at least some rain and we lost them all. Let's make him remember what Tiger Stadium is like on a Saturday night with fans hungry for redemption.
