Sorry about that, sometimes get carried away.

My first Kobe introduction was his press conference to declare and immediately he was a dynamic presence. He always seemed a bit too smug but also evolved into a talent that will be debated forever. If he wins a title with Nash, which is very possible with that frontcourt, the legacy grows.

As I was typing this, Kobe's thoughts just aired about getting Nash and also the Olympic team. I just went from anti-Kobe to pro-Kobe. I call it the Steve Nash effect.

New rumor is that the Lakers are offering Bynum and Artest (I will not call him 'Metta World Peace. What an oxymoron, in every sense of the word, for that guy to change his name to anything having to do with 'World Peace'. But I digress..) to Orlando for Dwight Howard. If the Lakers have Nash, Bryant, Gasol, and Howard, I think they springboard over OKC as the favorite in the West and may even have a better team, on paper anyway, then Miami.

Good point. Their starters would definitely be comparable, if not better in spots, but I still think their bench is shit.
