Uh, the part where he said he wanted to consolidate power in the executive branch might be the most UN awesome thing I have ever heard. Of course that isn't what he "really" meant and we should pay no attention to it.
my new york "progressive" friends are over the moon at what a great speech it was, they "love" obama. i weep for them. i feel like they would love tim tebow or kim kardashian if they spoke, they just love famous people who say goofy things.
Run for the hills peeps. LaSalle and I agree on something. It can't be long now. If I ever agree with gumbo it may be time to end it all.
Sounded like he was making a campaign speech, to me, not a 'State of the Union address' ...... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I wouldn't climb on the ledge just yet, I mean we are referring to a president trying to get absolute power, I don't care who you are, that sh!t ain't good at all...
As you would say, "You have no idea what I know and/or don't know." Let's take a look at what you said though. If teachers spending their entire curriculum on preparing students is a problem then the problem must be with the assessment instrument...or the program. The "test" should measure what's deemed "important". If that's not the case change it. And btw, I don't hear ANY teachers complain about that. Some curriculum needs to be left out. How often do 90% of HS graduates use pi (3.14) ? Further, if our history books were full of "important" events 15+ years ago, what gets "cut out" to add the more recent historic events such as 911, the invasion of Iraq, Hurricane Katrina... And don't get me started on NCLB. Goals 2000, NCLB, soon to be another re-invention of the wheel which, also, will pass.
where are all the so-called jobs he created!! like it was a year and a half before i went back to work.
