Every year I know it's going to heat up...it's about like the PLOI rumor that is supposed to hit Tuscaloosa in 2 weeks that has been running around for over a year now. Then, it's the recorded conversation with Jerrell Harris and his mom being offered $$ from a AU rep... It's all just grating on my nerves so badly half the time I'll just get off the 'net because it's so frustrating to read. (and that's just seeing the thread titles) Since Saban was hired, it's moved up a few notches. Since the season ended, it's moved up hundreds of notches. Seriously, I hate it. People are beginning to stoop to the same level that John Thrower did.
I posted this on another forum: Code: 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 AVG 13 wins 1 1 1 0 1 0 0.7 12 wins 0 0 0 0 0 1 0.2 11 wins 0 1 0 1 2 1 0.8 10 wins 1 2 2 2 1 1 1.5 9 wins 2 1 1 2 2 2 1.7 8 wins 3 2 0 0 2 3 1.7 7 wins 2 0 1 1 0 1 0.8 6 wins 0 0 2 0 1 1 0.7 5 wins 1 1 1 2 0 1 1.0 4 wins 0 2 1 1 2 0 1.0 3 wins 1 0 1 3 1 1 1.2 2 wins 1 2 2 0 0 0 0.8 It's how many teams won a certain number of games each year, and an average. After the bowls, about 5 teams have had 9 or more wins each year, and 4 have had losing seasons. So, in three years, who are these 5 teams on top, and who are on the bottom?
I think it's a bit premature to put Bama in a class with LSU and Auburn at this point. They haven't done anything on the field to indicate that. Right now, I would have Arky above Bama till Bama proves otherwise.
