That's your definition, not THE definition. The fact that you even tried reading it automatically eliminates your opinion.

You aren't a rapist. And penetrating a woman who is unconscious isn't part of your nature, IMO.

    Proof?

I already said that, Einstein. The perpetrator however, is a proven liar.

Nope. Let's review Mr. California Has No Pine Trees......

"With the Stanford guy he started out to get some pus. The other stuff was him playing around without a clue of the seriousness of what he was doing, apparently. "

In that sentence, "apparently" is modifying the "seriousness of what he was doing"....not the "playing around" vernacular.

Nah I was told to read it and listened like an idiot.

Even when I have an unconscious woman in my bed, no.

And let me tell you, I took psych classes and read all the mumbo jumbo on rape. We are the experts. There is no rape in nature. But speaking as a man, sex is a big part of rape.

    Agreed.

    I have no doubt.

Yes, there is rape in nature. Even gang rape. Unless you are a rapist, then I can't acknowledge your perception. What I can do is tell you what 10 years of victim statements look like and sound like. It's never about the sex. Arousal is from violence, inflicting pain, control, and humiliation. That is completely different than arousal from "regular" sexual stimulation.

The comma (and lack thereof others) would indicate that it was modifying the entire statement. As with your psycho degree, I just happen to know a thing or two about English.

EDIT. In all seriousness, I missed a comma, hang me.

SO how does power and humiliation work with a person who is unconscious? Isn't the point of having and possessing that power to have your victim bear witness?

    Same thing for humiliation.

If that is the goal as you say, wouldn't rapist want them to be awake and conscious?

"Of" is a preposition. That starts the modifier. IMO, "apparently" is modifying the issue of seriousness, not the playing around.

You might could spend some time studying up on dendrology.

Yeah I edited my post silly. I mistakingly left off a comma. Not that it would matter cause you know more about what drives a guy to screw than a guy. :D

But "of" as any preposition, starts a prepositional phrase.
