Lions have trailed in the 4th qtr of every game this season. Yet have a 7-4 record.

Cooks running his mouth after a win. Knew they should have traded him.

Tired of Ingram... Should have had a first down on the first drive but his pussy ass runs out of bounds 1 yard short.

This team would be 2 games better with Spencer Ware toting the rock. Wasn't he a 6th rd pick.

Cooks is barely a #2 wr in my view.

Only thing worth salvaging is brees 60 straight games with a passing td. 63 if you include the playoffs. Likely ends here.

An all-round pissy effort yesterday, and I include Payton in that. He got so fired up about embarassing GW last week, and didn't have seem to have anything left yesterday.

Rules question....on the play where Cooks was ruled down at the one and SP threw the challenge flag...I thought you couldn't challenge that type of ruling, since once the whistle blew the play was dead anyway. If they can't overturn an inadvertent whistle (as it turned out, the replay showed it wasn't inadvertent), why allow the challenge to even take place? In essence, the refs stole a time out from us, IMO.

If the ball is recovered immediately it can be challenged even if the whistle is blown early.

It wasn't a fumble. Cooks made the catch and was brought down, but he came down on top of the defender, and it was real close if he actually touched the ground, so he jumped up and got in the end zone. But the whistle had blown, and replay showed his elbow touch the ground. SP was contesting that he had never gone down, so he must have thought the whistle was inadvertent. Shouldn't he have been told,"Sean, we don't even have to look at this. Even if you're right, the whistle ends the play, and that can't be challenged."

Oh I see. I had given up by that point. Thought it was a fumble.
