yeah, I sat in the east upper for one game, past the chairbacks, and it's really a ways from the field

But like my mom says, it's in the stadium. :thumb:

I hope heights don't bother you.

The escalators will go out about a half-hour prior to kick-off at least once each season, more so the east side than the west. And it will be on an early game, Aug or early Sept, bout 98 degrees/90% humidity, will lose your buzz about 1/4 the way up the ramps, pass out half-way, miss first-half....get to the stadium a little early. not that's that ever happened to me....just sayin

I "abso slutly" LOVE the upper deck. I prefer midways. Not because of the height, but the climb is tough on old farts.

If i remember correctly, the one home game i made last year as the Va Tech game and the escalators on the east side were not working...i do remember the rain being welcoming and refreshing though after my hike!

There was a minor riot at the east ramps when the escalator quit, I can't remember if that was the Va Tech game or another one. It was about 20 minutes before kick-off. People were climbing over the walls, throwing beer/water bottles, jumping over barriers.

you have to spread some reputation around before giving it to red again...

With the bridge collapse last year in Minnesota,I can't say i would feel totally comfortable up there.Might need a few extra shots of bourbon so i wouldn't care.
