Its all about profit MARGIN. Good food has a small margin. Hot dogs are cheap (to supply) so the margin is high. Popcorn is practically free to make, so the margin is almost 100%

They sell jambalaya at the Saints games and it's pretty good... way better than most stadium food.

What I demand at the stadium are:

    • hamburgers
    • hot dogs
    • peanuts
    • popcorn -- fresh popped like they used to, not the bagged crap they sell now
    I can accept:

    • Cajun sausage sandwich-- variation on the hot dog
    • jambalaya
    • bag-O-chips
    • BBQ sandwich -- if it is done right
What I hate to see is:

    • nachos -- unlike the dry waste of the above, nachos make a mess in the stands with gooey gunk that they don't clean up very well.
    • frozen lemonade -- put them behind the counters, don't block the ramps with carts.
    • candy -- waste of space, put back the popcorn machine
    • pizza -- they suck anyway, they were made yesterday
    • pretzels -- always stale

    GTFOH!
    • sushi
    • chickfilas
    • bagels
    • KFC famous bowl-of-slop
    • yogurt
    • taco bell
    • smoothies

last year, there was a popcorn cart near where you go into my section that had fresh popped corn. i dont remember seeing it last week. i hope i just missed it because it was much better than the bagged stuff.

Hey leave my stale, messy, fake cheese nachos alone, me and my little girl love them! Just bring extra napkins and don't be a lazy bum an throw the trash on the ground(not directed at you Red). Between quarters get your butt up and put it in the trash.

You don't like Chick-fil-a? I thought everyone liked them.

but with the nachos, they got stingy with the cheese. and i noticed on the menu it said "extra cheese .50". what, they cut back on the cheese so they can can charge another .50 to give back what they took away? :rolleye33:

That explains this past game. I don't even look at the menu any more. Nachos were definitely lacking cheese tho.
