    Spurrier wrapped up his locker room pep talk at that game by saying that they were number one and LSU's team wasn't nearly as intimidating as Tiger Stadium fans, "Now, lets go out there and lay 40 on them!"

    Yeah but top coaches on the way out are concerned with their legacy, too. They don't just resign mid-season, throwing recruiting into the bin and walking away with no warning. I still think there is more to this story that hasn't come out yet.

    It's either his health, he was forced out, or he got pissed at some powerful boosters who told him he was gone at the end of the season
