1. Why? He was one of the biggest dicks ever.
  2. because he was great and didnt give a shit about what other people thought, yes he was a dick, but he brought excitement to the SEC.
  3. And if his QB sucked he said that and sat his ass down, didn't try to hide him or give him a dusting of powdered sugar.

  4. Spurrier is a likable character, but he ran up scores on a lot of teams in the 90's. I think he may have learned his lesson, but nobody has been bit shy of running it up on Spurrier since then.

  5. Great coach, not sure I'd call him a likable character.
  6. Hey! Lane too!

  7. If you hate Spurrier you just might be a little bitch.

    No offense twisted.
  8. He came to the SEC and started doing things that the league was simply not ready for. His record is staggering. In 12 seasons: 6 SEC titles, 7 SEC East titles (out of 10 possible), 12 conference losses. I kind of liked his attitude of, "I'm a smartass, and if you don't like it, beat me at football."

  9. He was an ass. But, I respect the man. What you saw was what you got with him.

  10. When Jadeveon Clowney got his second speeding ticket right before the bowl game which OBC knew would be his last game before going pro "We'll have to see about getting him some driving lessons......right after the bowl game" My all time fav quote from Spurrier....
