    good to hear.

All said, spring practice ranks right up there with the begining of august 2 a days for gut checks. this is usually when coaches "build tougnesss and charactor" along with some experimenting with positions and plays.

A little extra running because of missed classes might be just what the doctor ordered. Eliminate a potential problem before it escalates.

It is between Jarvis Jones & Joseph Barksdale. Personally, I think Jones is better suited for LT (which is obviously taken), but Barksdale only played OLine part-time in high school, so Jones may have the position down a little better.

Supposedly it is a fierce competition with neither one having the edge right now, but I think Barksdale will win it.

Whichever one it is, we'll be fine. Both these guys are going to be spectacular.

 Didn't study it, but I can imagine. He pretty much made up for it the rest of the game, IMO. We're gonna miss Ali!

I can verify that.. My boss is fairly good friends with Ciron Black FWIW. He saw him a few weeks ago and said that he doesn't look like the same guy as a year ago this time. Apparently since the NCG they've been hitting the weight room really hard and concentrating on strength and conditioning. Glad to see that.

I saw Ciron and Big Herm in Schlitz & Giggles on Friday, and they are both looking great. I was particularly impressed with how lean Ciron looked. And it looks like Big Herm finally got rid of all his baby fat. He is looking very lean for someone of his size.

Seems I heard or read somewhere that big Herm has learned how to "play mean".
