Agree. After what Saban and Miles have accomplished over the past 14-15 years should solidify us as one of the top five programs in the nation imo. I don't think we could be having as much success in recruiting out of state talent if that were not true.
didn't realize that either, Red. and for the record I don't think Miles is old by any means and hopefully he is with us for another several years. post-Miles, idk, a lot of things transpire in 7-8 years so who knows who is still around, who is available, etc.
Of course I have to disagree. I do know more than nothing, and I would bet that Les would not have the staff, recruiting & overall success in the Big 10 as he has in the SEC. He could not have replicated the exact circumstances in Michigan as he has at LSU. He would not have Moffitt, he would not have Chavis, and alot of these in state players would not have made the journey to Ann Arbor. Les working with less equals Less. Of course there is no way to prove either of our opinions, because the object of your affection is in the great state of Louisiana, at the greatest college in the nation. I am also a Michigan fan, by the way. LSU first, Michigan second.
At his rate of 10.5 wins a year, he will only need four years to pass Charley Mac as the winningest coach in LSU history and literally become the Bo Schembecher of LSU. Les ain't going anywhere for the next five years.
