With nothing else to go on but the spring game, I suspect we'll be seeing a lot of dual QB. Harris has too much long-term upside to just use him for mop-up snaps. His arm also looked to be far better than Jennings'. He just looked very raw. And he ain't starting unless Jennings gets hurt. Les is not about to risk a repeat of 2008.
I think you are right. Jennings I don't think will lose us many games, but I cannot see him going with a wildcard like Harris. I also think Miles has to thing about depth. Harris is not going anywhere as the carrot is close. I am sure there are factors to consider as far as QB moral depending on who is starting.
Rettig has had a tough Spring. There were rumblings around campus that Kragthorpe performed better than Rettig the last scrimmage and was close to passing him on the depth chart. He needs to keep working to earn playing time. It is still early in his career.
