Agreed, and many of us will never forget that season for both the good and bad. However, I think that it's unfair to compare any QB currently on the roster or our passing game to that year's QBs/passing game. We now have a proven OC. The spring game had a lack of WRs compared to what we'll see in the fall. All of the QBs are young and just now getting the number of reps that pay off down the road.
I see nothing in those videos that would make me think, that the QB position is locked down, or that LSU will not have issues on offense this season due to the QB position. Put pressure on these young QB's, load the box, and this offense is going to look like Florida's offense from last season.
Florida had no running back we have at least one that is proven, I doubt the offense will look as bad as Florida, thats a lot of hyperbole after a spring game, you think?
Well folks, season is already over it seems... Forget the fact we went 13-1 with JJ... Season is over..
You're right, LSU has running backs that Florida didn't. That is a positive and should not be overlooked.
Not saying season is over, just saying that there will be struggles, specifically on offense with the QB position. Jennings is gaining the habit of holding the ball too long, Harris is looking to run, and keeping his head down alot when pressured. Harris also has some work to do with his throwing mechanics. By the way, how many of those 13 wins were contributed to by J. Lee? just sayin.
What a good response. Pic 6 Lee. Jennings or Harris will be just fine. People were blowing loads over him last spring. What I am amazed to find is that the QB's threw more than double the passes that Mett threw in last years spring game.... We still have Cam coaching people. It is spring, Just sayin......
