Get ready for 2008-2011 all over again from the world of fandom. Jennings will never be good enough, until he's yanked, then Harris will suck until he is and vice versa.
Never had a Cam at LSU. Never had 2 WR's with over 1,000 yds each, a RB with over 1,000 yd rushing and a QB throw for over 3,000 yds. all in the same season. I'd like to see this season play out. 2011- 13 wins 2010- 11 wins
Looking back: In 2011 we won 13 games. That season one QB avg. 100.5 yds/game passing, the other 73.7 yds/game. That OL, remember how many of those guys played in the NFL? Guess that was a "Miracle Worked" line?
I could care less about individual ratings. It's all about the end results. Auburn's OL's got them to the NC game running the ball. The proof's in the pudding. They played much better as a unit than ours did. They started gelling in the second half vs LSU and couldn't be stopped the rest of the season. Hopefully, Grimes's coaching and recruiting will pay dividends. We need to be recruiting more OL's up north. Pocic needs to be starting somewhere this season.
LSU was up 21 before they got off the bus, then from there, once they scored, matched them TD for TD till the end of the game. LSU put in subs towards the end of the game. We could have put 50 on them that day easy. We had 21 players record stats on the defensive side of the ball, like I said, played a bunch of subs. Hill ran for right at 200 yds that day.
HE wasn't good enough. Look dude. Cam basically turned Mett into a 1st round pick before his injury. You can sit there and act like you know more than the coaches, but if Cam or Miles didn't see enough to start Rivers, then there is your damn answer.
After seeing Jennings, albeit briefly, I find that hard to believe. Jennings was anointed with the starting job as soon as he set foot on campus although now it's pretty evident that was premature. Rivers never had a chance. He wasn't the "type" of QB that Miles wanted. I think we wind a up with true freshman starting QB this year. There's your damn answer, dude!!
