I remember pming with you about that last year, tell him to go back again and ask them for a shot, can't hurt and they should like his determination- may open a door. Best wishes and please let us know if things change. Pulling for you and your son. :thumb:
Special teams has been LSU's weakness for the last two seasons. It's going to bite us in the ass this year if it doesn't improve. Last year the kicker and punter stepped it up, but the return game was horrible . . . worse than horrible. At least Peveto has a new gig, we sure as hell need a change on special teams.
I know, that's the only thing that kind of bothered me when he named him co-defensive coordinator. It's not like our special teams have been setting the world on fire since he had them.
Two kickoffs looked like they would have been returned if tackling were allowed for returns. Don't know if that is a credit or fault to the special teams.
LSU's website says there was 33,624 people in attendance. That's not bad for a spring game. :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
I noticed that and yes it was Brooks - he definitely stood out today. I'd say Hatch was the biggest surprise for me. I thought Lee would be OK but didn't think Hatch would look quite as good as he did. With RP back, we'll be plenty good at QB I think. Without RP - better than many think but a much steeper road.
