I gotta say, glorified practice or not, I still get really excited about the spring game. It's an opportunity to see how players have improved, see new players take a shot when the guys are hitting, and hitting hard. But most of all, just to let the team know that we support them under any and every circumstance. I can assure you, it's a big deal in and around columbus (don't know the attendance from last year, but i'll look it up if anyone is interested). I admit, I don't understand the reluctance of some LSU fans to go to this game :huh:, as i'm kinda pissed i don't get to go to ours (too many others beat me to the request book on this one :cuss. Your team just won a NC, I'd be thrilled to get to see them play under any circumstance.
I really have no desire to go to the spring game and will do other stuff Saturday. The format just puts me to sleep and everyone involved seems like they don't care.
