stats are often stupid. eye test. harris showing much of nothing with this les miles offense. mett sucking like every other lsu first year qb is simply proof we have a systemic problem, not an indication that our shitty qb play might magically get better. but its good rationalization for those with hope against hope. which i guess is most of us.
No, not enough improvement or advancement to win an SEC West/SEC Championship. He may look like Jameis Winston in the OOC and SEC "Bottom Feeder" games, but will regress to mediocrity against the SEC "Big Boys." Hope he proves me wrong, but I'm not betting on it..................
Harris outperformed Mettenberger in their respective first years as a starter. How has that not happened yet?
You're not dumb (I'm assuming), you know the end game of that writeup was to assert that Harris is going to duplicate what happened with Mettenberger in his 3rd year at LSU. I'm a stats guy (more than anyone on this forum most likely), but the eye test clearly showed that Mettenberger was coming into his own late in the 2012 campaign (see his last few games, eye test). Harris looked like total garbage down the home stretch.
