    Thanks, Shane.

Please keep us posted on what the local Oklahoma press is reporting on this. I'm sure it is more salient than anything SI craps out.

No problem. From what I can gather the OSU honks are upset because it puts them in a bad light when they were just now starting to get noticed. Like I said last night, the guy I listened to this morning played 4 years under CLM and he was sort of taken back by it all. He was adamant that there was no pay, he said sure they could have went to class more but what SA can't honestly say that. The guy that comes on at 2 is also an OSU alum and he will have a bunch to say on it.

My first thoughts were that they were really going after Miles. Even with their success after he left they (OSU) peeps are still really sore with him and nothing would please them more than to see him fall. We should know a lot more once the story is out and there are names/dates stuff that can be cross checked for accuracy. I'm currently in camp "much ado about nothing"

    I'm with you on that.

My hunch is that this will wind up being a bunch of hearsay and accusations from players that couldn'y make it to the NFL and are in need of attention (and cash from "selling their story" to SI).

    It doesn't matter.

The statute of limitation on NCAA infractions is four years. Les has been gone from OSU for nine.

These are not the droids you are looking for. Move along.

Article covers from 1999 to 2011. There may still be some real fall out. It is an interesting note in the article that prior to Miles there were no booster in the locker room or access to players and he let them have access to the players when he came. Greedy, jealous boosters will ruin a program. I'm glad that LSU maintains a very active compliance department.
