There is going to be a concerted effort on the part of the media and other coaches to try their best to tie this to Miles. In fact, the Alabama Sports Programming Network (ASPN...er, ESPN) is already starting:

Also, queue up the LSU so-called "fans" that hate Miles to start their BS as well. I'm guessing we'll see them chime in on this shortly.

No way in hell that Miles had anything to do with this. I'm convinced that any investigation will bear that out. I'm willing to bet that any investigation will also prove these allegations to be wholly without evidence for Oklahoma State as well.

I agree with you. This give the haters some fuel for their rage. I also think it does not involve Les.

Les went sergeant Schultz with the "I know nothing!" defense. Whether guilty or innocent could you possibly expect any different response? But for those rushing to canonize Saint Leslie, IF it did happen, and IF it did happen while be was head coach, is he completely absolved if he claims to know nothing about it? Should he have known? If it were any number of hated rival coaches (let's say one with the initials Saban, Meyer, or Spurrier for example) in the exact same situation) who proclaimed the same innocence, would they get the benefit of the doubt?

For the record I am not a Miles hater. He has changed my opinion of his abilities over his tenure here from mostly negative to mostly positive. But I have no idea what he did at OK St. and very likely neither does anyone else here. I hope it's not true, but I don't know that. I can't say with any certainty whether its true or false. Who has evidence to share one way or the other?

Sports talk radio will be abuzz with this story from the giddy up tomorrow. One of the guys in the afternoon played during the time of this "story". I will listen to see what he has to say. For the record he is what I believe to be a pretty straight shooter. He isn't a big fan of Les because of the way Miles lied to them when he took the LSU job but he still gives him props for doing his job well. I will let you know what if anything comes out of it up here.

It doesn't matter. Statute of limitations is over so les doesn't have to talk to NCAA about it and therefore doesn't have to talk about it.

Awesome. If there's one thing that fuels Miles to a great season, it's controversy and/or distractions. Thanks, SI! I still think you're worthless pieces of shit, but you've just unintentionally propelled our 2013 season.

So I just got done listening to Sam talk about this stuff and his opinion is it is all a bunch of bs. The guy that is breaking the story is pretty much a pos that will print just about anything he hears. He (Sam) said it is shocking that this evans dude was able to track down 60+ "disgruntled" players and blah blah blah. Said it is pretty hard to imagine that any of this was going on and he was too blind to not see or hear about it. Said he doesn't like Les, doesn't trust Les, but never ever thought or does he think that Les would cheat.
