One thing is for sure, Miles knew what was going on. I'm sure his hands were tied by boosters and/or AD and/or ultimately Pickens. I'm not liking what I'm reading.

Now there is no doubt working arrangements occur everywhere. Getting way overpaid for little work at all. I don't like it but it happens. It happens at all schools. It's the blanket handing out of cash that is really the bad part of this story.

After reading this part 1 I think it could very well tarnish Miles' name. Would the NCAA have the gonads to suspend a coach for a year like the NFL did with Sean Peyton and others. Peyton wasn't the one handing out bonuses but he knew about it. Miles wasn't handing out bonuses but he knew about it, supposedly.

Now Peyton could've put a stop to it because it was an internal team system they had set up. Miles might not have been able to stop it because outside forces were at work and those sources paid his own salary. Wow, i don't like where this is going. Hopefully this doesn't get Miles under investigation.

If the NCAA did their homework or wanted to do their homework, they would be finding this stuff themselves and not need SI to point the direction and lead the way.

Do you think they have any grounds to do anything. A sports writer typing words that a dead ource allegedly says does not constitute evidence, and any type of action against Miles would be met with a massive law suit.

Note the link about the story on the 'Alabama Sports Programming Network' website (ASPN...er...ESPN) reads "Report: OK St. players got paid in Miles era".

ESPN doing their part to keep up the ongoing hatchet job against Miles.

Why is it "for sure"? Because you - as a known Miles basher - says so?

Why are people (LSU fans) even reading this crap? Has the credibility of it not yet been blown to smitherenes enough for you? Seriously, quit giving it the attention that it's so dishonestly begging for.

Why don't they go digging stuff up on Saban? I bet they could find stuff going on now.

    Too late.

A quick look around SEC websites show that much comment is about how impossible it is for a program to control rogue boosters And they speculate on just how clean any program would be under an intense investigation.

Over-ambitious assistant coaches must be watched closely by the head coaches. Les had to fire one recently for recruiting misbehavior.

Speaking of assistant coaches, is Trooper Taylor still at the barn? He seems like the overambitious type.
