The only thing in the report that seems vaguely familiar is the teaser about the upcoming segment on drugs where it is claimed that positive drug tests wer
Apologies if I mis-characterized you...was a little hot under the collar the way many "journalists" were immediately taking the "if they printed it, it must be true" attitude.

Looking at the videos on SI of the players making the claims, it strikes me that you don't hear any of what the questions were so a viewer has no idea what they are answering to. Reading the story gives me the same impression.

Wish SI would release certified transcripts of the full interviews.

At any rate, I don't believe a word of it to be honest. Several of the people accused in this story are dead and can't defend themselves and the parade of OSU players calling out the 6 or 7 players making the accusations (all of whom were kicked off of the OSU team) make this look very dubious. What is amazing is that 2 of the players that were used in the interviews are coming out and denying what they allegedly said in the interview.

Again...release full certified transcripts of these interviews and let's see what was asked. Someone could film me saying "I did kill him!", which could be pretty incriminating at face value but would be perfectly innocent if it was in response to a friend asking "Hey, did you ever kill that mouse that was in your attic?"

The pressure to release the tapes will continue to build. One of the players "Tatum Bell" was cited in the article yesterday but went on the radio yesterday and said he was never contacted by si, never interviewed by anyone from si and has no idea why they would claim otherwise. The writer of the story claims to have Bell on tape so one of them is liar liar pants on fire. I'm not sure if si will release the tapes without pressure from a lawsuit though.

Apparently, in today's installment the academic improprieties were Les' fault becuase of the way he gestured while speaking to the team:

Wonder what Les' style of clapping secretly means?

They have been very careful not to directly link Les or T. Boone Pickens to any NCAA infractions. Instead they do a lot of insinuation.

They got nuthin'. They are steering away from accusing the guys who have pockets deep enough to hire lawyers and take on a major corporation.
