I met one at a tailgate for bedlam a couple years ago when everyone thought we might play okie lite for the NC. I don't think he started but the dude had nothing but great things to say about Miles.

Whitlock is a douche. Let's make no bones about that.

LSU has removed an assistant for providing improper benefits to a kid. The NCAA has been up our ass for years. Whatever may have happened at Okie St., I would be surprised is happening here. LSU has a very active compliance dept.

Coaches at Les' level have too much to lose to get involved in cheap shenanigans. But I worry about low-paid and overly ambitious assistants . . . and I don't trust the boosters at all.

Not sure where you're getting that but it's not true.

I'd be shocked if there were any truth to this; however, no person, at any level is immune. In fact I'd venture to say the higher up one is, the more chance of there being improprieties. Not only in coaching but politics, etc.

And back then, few knew who Les Miles was.

Well there was the DJ McCarthy crap in 2009 that resulted in self imposed sanctions and there was the NCAA Will Lyles investigation in 2011 that resulted in a 4 game suspension of Shepard. So from 2009 to now could be looked at as years.

The NCAA says Auburn and A&M gave it a headache and isn't in the mood right now.
