ND had no business being in the title game. They struggled against a bunch of mediocre teams last year

Oregon v Bama would have been fun to watch, seeing the Bama D vs the Oregon O. Oklahoma isn't the only one to do well against the SEC in the Title Game, remember it took a FG with no time left for the SEC to beat Oregon. And with Texas, we will never know because they lost Colt McCoy right off the bat, and he was one of the greatest college football players in history. and we never got to see what Stanford or Oklahoma State could do the year they had the SEC v SEC title game.

But yeah, the SEC left no doubt with ND and Ohio State (in back to back years)

 

Was that the Oregon vs. Auburn game you referenced? I'll be honest with you, I was so disgusted with $Cam and UnFairley that I didn't even pay attention. I heard in passing that they won.

I think Bama would have slobberknocked Oregon just like we did in '11.

Even though we lost in heartbreaking fashion, that was an awesome game against you guys in '98. That was during our infamous 'Lou Tepper Years' when our defense, specifically pass defense, sucked. Our offense was great, as was our run defense, but we couldn't stop the pass for shit unless there was a sack.

I'll see your '98 game and raise you with a '97 Independence bowl and '07 Sugar.
