Or if Bama drops another one and they can hide behind the "see...Bama is not that good, therefore Miles really is not that good" argument.
yup, these people are really like the bama fans of the 80's, They compared every coach to the Bear, now there are some who have to compare the LSU coach to Saban. Except it's not the real Saban, it's the mythical Saban, not the one who, while accompishing much, mismanaged several games here.
This is exactly why I love when people dig up the old "Jimbo sucks" and "Pellini blows" threads of yore.
My frustration with Miles is it doesnt matter if its a top team like Bama or a bottom dwelller like Vany, he still finds a way to keep the opponent in the game. I love his "gambler" attitude, but his dumb mistakes kill me. Didn't see them in this game... BUT, Crowton still has to go.
The only play that I saw that could remotely be considered a "trick" was the fake punt. The end-around off the pitch to Ridley was set up by constantly pitching the ball to Ridley the entire game. The Alabama defense kept throwing more and more players at the play. End-arounds haven't been trick plays since last decade. The deep throw to Randle to end the game was just a good throw on a 9 route. Nothing tricky about it. I don't even think there was a double move or anything. Lee stepped up into the pocket and made a nice throw over the DB. Where were the tricks?
B Funny how the offense looks better when Crowton gets performance from the QB position. What a coincidence huh? What if he wins a BCS game this year? Still fire him? What if he wins the NC? Still fire him? Your glass is half empty dude. Definintely half empty.
