i just have a hard time imagining how Mett is going to suddenly flip a switch and become good. its easy for me to see how just about every other position on the team plays very well (even the WRs).--although i do think the RBs will have a very bad night except for ford perhaps. the blue loss was big.
Mett might not neccessarily need to flip a switch...if he got just a LITTLE better, and the receivers also got just a LITTLE better, then they might be able to do just enough. Blue was definitely a loss, but Hill looks like he may actually be an improvement. WTH happened to Hilliard, BTW??
I agree with this. It seems like the QB & WRs slipped a little out-of-synch after the Washington game, and then it just got worse. The week off may have been just what they needed to get back on track.

Hilliard looks fine to me. He had I think 3' runs against sc where he barreled over guys. But being a pure power back he needs consistent reps and hill has earned those for now. And mett will have to flp a switch considering the opposing defense. This will take a complete reversal of how he's looked thus far against even subpar defenses. *Let us pray*

Jeremy Hill has been playing like he has something to prove. If the ultimate goal is win a national championship, I would like to see Les call this game like it was his last. Extremely aggressive, the only way we stand a chance of jumping undefeated teams (which I don't think we do anyway) is to start beating the shit out of people.
I think using blue and ford will work better than hill and ford. I think blue is/was the best at hitting the hole fast. Being big or running hard aint gonna get you jack in this game. Picking the right spot and getting there fast is gonna be necessary to get 4+ yds
