I think the SEC should be a round robin with the top 2 playing in the SECCG. What's bullshit about the SEC, is a team like Georgia making it to the SECCG without playing Alabama, LSU, or Arkansas. Everyone should play everyone. They could completely do away with OOC games, and then have a tournament at the end of the season. After awhile you could have tournaments and no meaning bowl games that would actually be watchable.
Don't let that 7 and 6 husky record keep you up this evening. Hard to confuse it with Oregon, in the big scheme of things. I noticed Mizzou sitting just outside the bunch at 26. So how long would it take to switch our places? I will say that on paper, LSU has Florida and SC to deal with in the east and that looks like a challenge. But your OOC schedule has definitely taken a back seat to last season.
We got 13 teams to play now and 2 more on the horizon. Divisonal play aint going away. That's way more than what's in the current alotment. If your advocating CFB to start at beginning of August, you got my vote.
OK, I guess. We won in front of over 108,000 in State College. You may remember they were 8 and 1 going into the Nebraska game, after the JoPa mess. Good team with a tough defense. Held a high ranking going into the Nov. 12 cornhusker contest.
Since our '11 schedule was arguably one of the toughest in history, then I can agree with that statement.
He's channeling Capt Obvious... I just wanna see how long he wil harp on it, ignoring the fact that Bama's 2011 OOC was in no way a juggernaut.
Gotta play OOC games. But as far as the 8 or 9 game, round robin SEC schedule is concerned, do you realize what that would mean? It means, you want to go back to the good ole days? And then let the two best teams, record wise, figure it out in Atlanta? Why would anyone do that? Doesn't make sense, it would still bring in that boat load of money Kramer envisioned, in 1992. Second, it would actually end up rewarding the two best teams with a true SEC championship. Do you realize that your plan would reward the regular season, in it's entirety? Then finally, your crazy scheme would allow the BCS poll to reflect these conference champions. You must be out of your mind.
