Preseason polls get you set up for the BCS race, about it. That's good for us, in case you have a hiccup along the way. Overall, I see SC and Georgia in a dead heat. R-Kansas lost their OC and motivator and given that's about all they were bringing to the fight, I got the barn finishing 3rd in the west.

Just cannot get excited about aggies and mizzou. Might google during the season.

    Your defense. eheheh

Seriously, UGA. an appearance in ATL doesn't garner a lot of respect from me especially considering the recent down trend in the east.

Did Houston Nutt prove anything by his two appearances in ATL?

They most certainly DO matter. The higher you start, the easier it is the make the big game.

So now all the sudden the AP poll means something? Let me ask you this.... How does the AP factor into the BCS?

The Coaches Poll pretty much mirrors the AP.

Yeah you have a point, but if we were ranked 5 or 6, and we take care of business, we are playing in Miami. To me it's just a distraction at this point.

Don't see any West Virginia or Oregon on your OOC schedule. Preseason poll is a bigger deal than you think.

So you are saying that if LSU wouldn't have had Oregon and WVU on the schedule last year, we wouldn't have made it to New Orleans? Take care of business in the SEC, win the SEC, and you are in, unless you are Auburn.
