What does everyone think of this issue with the Russian spies? Shouldn't the United States try and extract information, and then send them back to their homeland? Putin says U.S. police "out of control" in spy case - Yahoo! News
if by try to extract information, you mean "torture", then yes, we should. thats what you do to spies. you torture them, or you kill them.
Any information we could get from them is worth knowing. A more disturbing question is for why Russi wants to spy on us.
NY suspect dubbed femme fatale of Russian spy case - Yahoo! News i could think of alot better things to do with her than kill her.
I have tried to tell people for years that I don't trust the Soviets. People have tried to tell me they are Russian and we now see the results of that. The only countries we should trust are probably are England and Israel. Martin, Torture is no longer acceptable in this pathetic country. You get in trouble for water boarding. What a bunch of softees we are! Shame on you Lasalle Ave!
maybe i am just a sucker for red heads, but damn i just couldn't advocate torturing her (unless she asked).
All super powers spy on each other. Maybe not to the extremes that took place during the cold war but it still benefits you to know what potential threats might be out there. Intelligence it the way of the world. I'm sure we have CIA ops in Russia.
There is a lot more eye spy action going on b/w these two and the US than you could ever imagine. Everyone has spies and they spy on everyone.
Not just super powers. Most countries have intelligence services, and many of them are posted abroad in their embassies. Friends and foes alike. Israel has had tremendous success spying on us. The US spies on everyone. Not that we do anything with intelligence once we get it...
