It has been a a good group of OSU posters, thanks for the civil conversation in what can often be a heated subject about teams we have great feeling for.
As a group, the Buckeye fans that came here have been the BEST I've ever seen. Very knowledgeable about their team, college football goings on, very good sports, and seem like honest good fun loving people! Congrats to the Buckeye nation! Stick around and have fun with us, and good luck down the road! Geaux Bucks!
Hey Buck...sorry bout the rant (I get a little carried away sometimes dude). Welcome aboard. If I take my meds on a regular basis though Im usually OK. Well maybe for most things. My attorney's tell me not to worry because I couldn't help it. Anyway, as I said welcome and sorry bout misunderstanding:thumb:
Thanks to the LSU faithful here as well. Y'all were a great group to interact with during the interminable wait for the game.
Speaking from a different perspective here. Alot of what our members don't see here really defines a rival fan base. Usually there are countless pot stirrers and smack talkers who are only here to cause trouble. That was NOT the case this time. I can only think of a couple such visitors. So thanks so much for visiting here and contibuting to our forum with constructive discussions!
Turns out you were right about the only thing that mattered...the rest was just details. You guys have a great forum here, lots of knowledgeable posters and a good place for discussions...even the smack talk was intelligent (or at least started out that way). Very much gladness to Nutriaitch for pointing me here as opposed to tigerpoopings. Congrats again on an outstanding season. I'd put this year's LSU team (minus the chop block) up against the champions of the past 5 years without any reservation. I look forward to the teams squaring off again but will be in and out in the meantime, just to remind you guys how great The Ohio State University football program is.:thumb:
One thing that was so great was the discussion concerning traditions and odd things about the opposing team that opposing fans know little or nothing about. We learned a lot about what makes OSU great. Excuse me (clears throat), tOSU. That is all.
Absolutely! I've developed a great deal of respect for LSU, and their fans, from both this board, and their treatment of buckeyes in NOLA. Kudos!
And another thing I would add is that we have one very important thing in common: A tremendous coach who believes in doing the right thing, in upholding integrity, in producing great kids, on and off the field. There aren't many college coaches who fit that description.
